My full name is Joanna, but I have always been known by my nickname, Asia. I started riding when I was 4 years old, and it became a passion of mine and I've been competing in barrel racing since 2012. I placed in Top 10 WPRA Jr California Circuit in 2015. In 2016 I competed in the Cow Palace, at the Grand National Barrel Racing Jackpot and placed in 2D on my Appaloosa Ferrari. In 2017, I am beginning my journey to my professional barrel racing career, as a WPRA Permit holder I plan on running my other barrel horse Cal (Okie Dokey Time) in my first WPRA Professional Rodeo season.
My parents and my sister have been my motivation, my support group, my pit crew, my financiers and my team since I started this adventure. I am very blessed for having such amazing people in my life. Thank you for being there for me in good times and hard times and motivating me to do better!
Erika ThigpenHi, my name is Erika Thigpen and I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am seventeen years old and have been riding horses for about eight years. I have been competing in rodeo for around five years. I compete in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, breakaway roping, and team roping. To be able to compete in these events I have my three horses Breezy, Lefty, and Gypsy. My favorite event to compete in is probably barrel racing. Apart from my horse riding passion, I enjoy to use my camera and do some photography.
Samantha HornbergerMy name is Samantha Hornberger and I'm 15 years old. Ever since I was little, I wanted to have horses. That dream came true when I was 10, and I've been riding ever since. I started gymkhana when I was 11 on my trusty Appaloosa mare, who I had trained myself. I've been barrel racing for the last three years. In 2016, thanks to my family and some amazing horses, I was able to finish 19th in the West Coast Barrel Racing association and in the top 5 for the WPRA Jr California Circuit. I aspire to one day compete in pro rodeo and qualify for the NFR. I'm very excited to compete this season as part of Team Milton aboard my gelding Washakie Just Tru (aka Axel), as well as my mare Favorite Fling (aka Sriracha).
My name is Sydney and I'm eighteen years old. I was born in Jackson Hole, Wyoming but raised in Indio, California. I've been riding longer than I've known how to walk. Might as well have been born on a horse!I started playing polo when I was around three years old and began showing hunter jumpers a few years later. Shortly after, I started Gymkhana and barrel racing. I hope to pro rodeo in the near future as well as continue to train polo horses. I am currently competing on three of my mares: Scott, Caddi, and Olive.
