Milton Security Group Celebrates its 7 Years in Business as a Network Security Industry Innovator
Fullerton, CA – June 27, 2014 - Milton Security Group Inc, the manufacturer of the Edge and ICEGuard inline Adaptive Network Access Control appliances, and the popular Cloud Authentication Security appliance, announced today that they are celebrating their 7th Year Anniversary.
Seven years ago, Founder James McMurry, set out to create a unique and reliable solution to what he saw then as the coming of what we now know as Bring Your Own Device, and all of the security ramifications that comes with that. There had been some partial solutions from others firms, but most of those firms are now gone, burning through millions of dollars of venture capital.
“When I started this company, there was no guarantee. It was a project I felt passionate about, and had to see through.” said James McMurry, “To see it running strong today, to know that we are providing the most cutting edge network security products as possible, is exciting and truly heartwarming.”
Since it’s founding seven years ago, Milton Security Group has expanded dramatically, and now provides a full suite of Network Security Solutions to a multitude of industries including civic government, healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education, supermarkets, banks and many more. The original Security Appliance from Milton Security Group has evolved over time, becoming an even more powerful engine that consumes less rackspace and electricity, all while including many more features and has since become the Edge 7200i, which in turn has given way to the innovative ICEGuard solution. Milton’s groundbreaking Cloud Authentication Security system is the first solution in the industry to integrate fully with both Google Apps for Education and Microsoft’s Office 365. Milton’s offices and organizational family, including employees and partners have grown as well.
“It’s been an incredible year, and we couldn’t be more pleased,” said President, Ethan Coulter. ”We are looking forward to crushing expectations again this year, and it will be exciting to see what we tackle next.”
