    Sr. Systems Engineer

    General Position Description and Requirements:
    The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of networking software in a Linux and BSD environment. The Engineer will be responsible for design, implementation and support of software for a network appliance.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Design and support software infrastructure for current and next generation of MSG NAC products
    • Design and implement System Management & Control software on x86 based systems
    • Support current NAC product with enhancements and feature requests

    Work and Industry Experience Requirements:
    • Minimum 10 years experience in Application level programming with 5 years experience in programming Network Management and Provisioning Systems
    • Prior experience in design and implementation of Network Management System for L2 Switch or similar appliance
    • Knowledge of the following: PhP, HTML, XML, JavaScript based UI design and implementation; 88 Relational database design; SQL programming; C/C++ Programming in multi-threaded environment on FreeBSD/Linux based OS; SNMP, Object-Oriented-Design and Methodology;
    • Client/Server (or distributed) programming, familiar with socket interface, RPC
    • BA/BS in computer science or related technical degree from fully accredited 4 year University or College.
    • Real world, verifiable, programming experience in C/C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl.
    • Internet and network skills, including HTML, XML/XSLT, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP.
    • Familiar with networking concepts particularly Switch Management, DNS, NAT, DHCP
    • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimum management supervision

    Education and Certification Requirements:
    • Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or equivalent education

    Senior Systems Analyst

    Requirements:

    • 5+ Years in customer facing security and/or networking positions.
    • Real world, verifiable, programming experience in C/C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl.

    • Hands on network security skills, Snort, Nessus, Nmap, Metaspl0it, NAC, CNAC
    • Hands-on experience in UNIX or GNU/Linux system administration.
    • Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2003 and AD
