Support Engineer I

Description

Provide technical support and assistance to a broad customer base, with a wide range of Milton Security Group products and services. Proactively detect anomalies and performance issues, and bring to resolution to the full satisfaction of our customers. Utilize networking tools to identify and analyze impairments that may affect services and systems. Perform end-to-end trouble isolation and repair on physical and logical layer services and devise action plans on more complex issues.

Requirements

• Requires a broad range of skills to effectively perform routine to complex assignments
• Associates Degree in engineering, computer science or telecommunications or equivalent plus 2-3 years of experience
• Fluent in many Networking protocols
• Active certification such as CCNA and CCNP are preferred
• Solid understanding of TCP IP, including sub-netting, routing protocols and the OSI model
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communications skills are necessary.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
