Description

Linux and Windows Systems Administrator to join the Technical Services team in Northern California. This person will be involved in all aspects of managing Linux and Windows based server in a virtualized environment. Involved in all aspects of building and maintaining the production infrastructure; Ensure proper security, monitoring, alerting and reporting for the infrastructure; Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; Help drive the capacity planning process; Help develop and maintain processes, tools, and documentation in support of production; Participate in the evaluation of new software, hardware, and infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in engineering, computer science or telecommunications or equivalent plus 2-3 years of experience
• Strong proficiency in UNIX and Windows environments
• Working knowledge of networking and the Internet, including: TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, SSH, etc
• Data exception handling
• Familiarity in virtual environment best practices
• Strong proficiency in application administration
